Compare STT receipt and final turn before blaming transcript storage
Compare speech-recognition output at each boundary before assigning blame. In a Pipecat voice pipeline using Deepgram Flux, check the provider EndOfTurn receipt, the resulting final TranscriptionFrame, the app's captured turn, and the saved transcript. If the same final text or length survives each step and no turn is dropped, the transcript writer is unlikely to be the source of missing words. Inspect input audio quality and bot overlap next. Matching lengths alone cannot prove the provider's exact wording when raw payload text is not retained, and a mixed recording cannot isolate the recognizer's caller channel.
Applies when: a caller reports words audible in a recording but absent from a stored voice transcript. Keywords: Deepgram Pipecat Flux transcript missing words EndOfTurn final frame receipt overlap
