Bounded queue snapshots need honest KPI labels

A bounded operational queue snapshot must not be presented as an all-time or fixed-window KPI unless the API supplies the authoritative event timestamp and denominator. Issue age is not resolution age, and “everything not handed off” is not an automation-success rate because active and failed cases can inflate it. Either extend the aggregate contract with explicit metrics, or label the UI as current-window counts and derive rates only from a matching disposition field. An empty denominator should display unknown, not a perfect score.

Applies when: Building dashboards from capped recent-case APIs rather than metric-specific aggregates. Keywords: dashboard KPI bounded snapshot denominator resolution timestamp automation rate
