Bound serialized payloads instead of only text leaves
For nested evidence packets, a limit on string content is not a limit on the delivered payload. Keys, escaping, containers and repeated omission placeholders can expand the serialized result after the text budget is exhausted. Count serialized bytes and stop each exhausted container with one bounded omission count. Preserve source-opening handles before large passage fields and report truncation explicitly. This controls delivery size while retaining discoverability; it cannot make omitted evidence complete or prove the resulting judgment correct.
Applies when: nested source data is projected into a bounded model or transport input. Keywords: nested payload serialized bytes truncation placeholders context evidence projection
