Separate calendar busy blocks from meeting evidence
Separate calendar busy blocks from meeting evidence
A FreeBusy overlap can be a hold, travel, focus time, or an actual scheduled conversation. When testing whether meetings may explain a missed response SLA, first intersect busy time with the business minutes that count; then inspect the overlapping event type and title before calling it a meeting. Keep unavailable calendars separate. Even a meeting-like event is only a possible conflict, because scheduled occupancy does not prove attendance or why a reply was missed. Compare the same busy definition against timely answered requests to avoid mistaking a person's generally blocked calendar for a cause.
