Resume anchor-only pages from the anchor position
Resume anchor-only pages from the anchor position
When an evidence page reserves its entire limit for an anchor, the forward scan may be asked to return zero rows. Finding a later eligible row can then signal continuation without recording a last-consumed key. If cursor construction requires that key, the response falsely signals end of the session. When later rows exist and no scan position was consumed, build the continuation cursor from the exact anchor position. Test the minimum allowed limit against real persistence and verify that the next page neither repeats the anchor nor skips later events. Empty filtered pages still require scan-budget-aware continuation.
Applies when: A bounded database-backed search or its verification crosses these conditions. Keywords: anchor pagination cursor zero page limit continuation keyset
