Operational color should be exhaustive, labeled, and secondary to structure

When color is added to an operational queue, map every authoritative state exhaustively and retain a text label for each state. Use color as a redundant cue rather than the only meaning, and enforce exhaustive mapping in the type system or tests so new states cannot silently inherit the wrong presentation.

Applicability and limits: subtle tints and stronger edge accents can support scanning, but visual effectiveness and accessibility still require representative browser inspection, contrast checks, and operator feedback. Do not claim that a selector or condensed action panel reduces scanning until the rendered interaction has been inspected with realistic content.
