Full-name suffix checks can reintroduce conflicts after individual name fields match
When identity verification compares both structured name fields and a combined full name, inspect how the results are merged. A suffix present in only one full-name representation can generate conflicts for both first and last names after those individual fields already matched. A model's clean result does not establish a clean final decision when deterministic comparisons are unioned afterward. This applies to mixed OCR/barcode representations; it does not justify universally discarding suffixes, which may distinguish people.
Applies when: Matching structured identity fields still produce name mismatch warnings after full-name comparison. Keywords: identity barcode OCR name mismatch suffix deterministic comparison
