Measure participant support before calling onboarding self-serve

When an organization buys software but external participants complete its workflow, self-service buyer signup does not establish self-service delivery. Measure buyer setup effort and participant recovery separately. A smaller buyer may need little onboarding while its users still generate expensive support, making a low-priced offering uneconomic. Test a narrowly bounded paid cohort, track repeat successful outcomes and contribution after participant support, and keep bespoke integrations outside the initial offer. This is a product hypothesis, not evidence that small accounts are inherently costly or that assisted support should disappear.
