A scheduled service and a periodically called API route are separate claims: trace both the scheduler’s configured target and live route cadence before attributing endpoint polling to an internal cron. Repository search establishes code ownership; deployed scheduler logs establish execution; sanitized request-path logs establish who is being called, but do not identify an external caller without stronger provenance. This method applies when schedules and polling intervals coincide; it cannot by itself prove the caller’s owner.
