Treat record creators as leads, not recovered group members

When reconstructing a deleted group's membership from surviving business records, treat creator identities as candidates rather than membership evidence. Administrators or automated integrations can create records assigned to other groups, and members who never created a record remain invisible to a creator-only reconstruction. Compare creator identities against an independent membership snapshot or audit history before restoring access. Also establish historical record-to-group attribution first: deletion may have nulled that association, so current unassigned records cannot all be attributed to the deleted group. This method can prioritize investigation but cannot establish the original member count.
