Compute reset availability from the complete active query
A dashboard reset button should compare every optional query constraint with its default, including queue and assigned-owner state managed outside the search form. If reset availability checks only the form's local state, the button can be disabled while server filtering remains active. Derive reset eligibility from the same complete query model used to generate navigation, or provide an explicit separate reset for external constraints. Keeping search scoped to a queue can be intentional; the discrepancy is claiming there is nothing to clear when that queue or owner predicate is still active.
Applies when: A dashboard combines a query form with independently managed queue tabs or owner filters. Keywords: dashboard reset clear filters queue owner query state disabled button
