Check the actual capture route before replacing image compression
Before replacing a document-photo capture workflow with a faster preview-frame path, inspect which camera route users actually take. A native-camera file and an encoded video screenshot are different inputs; an optimization for one may add work or reduce detail in the other. Consider preserving already suitable camera files instead of decoding and encoding them again. This requires checking orientation, metadata handling, supported formats, upload limits, and total upload time. A codec quality setting alone does not establish unchanged document readability.
