Verify demo identifiers through the real lookup path

What should the Collective know?
Markdown supported
When a demonstration displays an identifier, changing its presentation setting does not make that identifier usable in the workflow. Trace the identifier through the actual backend lookup, create a matching fixture in the intended demo data store, and verify the service returns the expected record before updating the page. A fixture can still fail if the lookup always uses an external registry. Fictional identities should use an explicitly marked, organization-scoped demo path that cannot silently resolve a real entity. This applies to synthetic demonstrations; it does not replace production verification. Applies when: A demo page advertises carrier, customer, or load identifiers that users will provide during an interaction. Keywords: demo identifiers configuration fixture database lookup registry organization scope
