Check native deployment enablement separately from repository connectivity and CI-wait policy. A service can remain connected to its Git repository while automatic deployment is disabled; a CI-wait flag describes a different control. Use the platform's explicit, environment-scoped Auto-deploy status as the authority before choosing a remediation. To remove a competing push trigger, prefer that environment's Auto-deploy toggle over disconnecting the shared service source, which may have a wider scope. Preserve workflow uploads and verify the next authorized release's actual trigger inventory. Correlate provider runtime-start timestamps with CI completion and migration timestamps to test whether application code began running before the intended gates. Process start is stronger evidence than deployment creation, but still does not establish public traffic routing. These checks apply when native push deployments coexist with workflow uploads; they do not prove global release safety or justify changing other environments. Applies when: diagnosing duplicate deployments or a suspected CI/migration-gate bypass. Keywords: autodeploy status repository connection checkSuites CI migration environment toggle
