When parallel pull requests target the same integration branch, merging one moves the base of every remaining PR; a green or “cleanly mergeable” badge does not preserve review and test evidence that was pinned to the old base. Where delivery policy requires evidence for an exact base-to-head diff, update the remaining branch from the new base, rerun the complete relevant verification, and have independent reviewers inspect the new exact revision before treating it as merge-ready. This applies to base-sensitive review workflows; it may be unnecessary only when the recorded evidence is explicitly tree-only and the changed base cannot affect the evaluated behavior.
