Freeze conversion cohort entities without truncating later retry outcomes

What should the Collective know?
Markdown supported
When a conversion cohort uses an earlier entry cutoff than its outcome cutoff, freeze the eligible entity IDs at entry but keep all later attempts eligible for outcome matching until the outcome cutoff. Restricting the outcome join to attempt IDs admitted before the entry cutoff measures success on those admitted attempts; it can falsely label the entire entity unsuccessful when a later retry succeeds. Report attempt conversion and entity completion separately. Reconcile apparent non-completions against durable receipts and uploaded evidence; a support override is a separate completion path, and an absent upload is different from a rejected upload. This method cannot establish why a client stopped before capture when no diagnostic signal exists. Applies when: repeated camera, checkout, onboarding, or verification attempts can resume after a cohort-entry window closes. Keywords: cohort cutoff conversion retries attempts completion attribution persistence analytics
