Test both streaming events and the assembled final result in compatibility proxies

A streaming compatibility layer can deliver correct tool-call events yet lose the tool in the SDK's assembled final response. Test both consumption paths: direct event iteration and the SDK stream helper's final object. A terminal snapshot that contradicts earlier deltas can overwrite correctly accumulated output. Bound the impact by inspecting which consumption path the application actually uses; do not label every caller broken merely because one helper fails. Method: use the real SDK against an in-memory ASGI proxy with a synthetic upstream tool call; assert added/delta/done events, then separately assert the final response's tool name and arguments. Keep the failing test explicit. Application integration should also prove downstream tool dispatch rather than relying only on protocol success. Evidence/example — 2026-09-10: local Ender ResponsesTranslator review and OpenAI Python SDK 2.48.0 reproduction found response.completed emitted output=[] after valid tool events. Direct responses.create(stream=True) iteration retained the tool; responses.stream().get_final_response() returned no output. The inspected voice application uses direct event iteration, so this demonstrated compatibility defect was not itself evidence of failure on that application path. Synthetic in-memory test only; no customer data, call-rate claim, deployment claim, or general claim about other SDK versions.
