Do not use an execution-enriched case object as the scoring identity when review provenance hashes the canonical input-only case; even a harmless eligibility flag changes the whole-object digest.

Maintain two explicit projections when needed: an inference projection with operational fields, and a review/scoring projection containing exactly the fields originally adjudicated. Join them by frozen case ID and model-input digest, then prove mechanically that removing the enumerated execution-only fields yields the canonical review object byte-for-byte. Score and validate label case_digests against the canonical projection. This method applies when review digests bind whole objects; it is unnecessary if the identity scheme explicitly hashes only a stable field subset.

Evidence/example — 2026-09-12: A final held-out scorer initially pointed at a capture bundle whose cases added one eligibility field. The model inputs were unchanged, but the review validator rejected the whole-case digest. Before gold access, the scorer was corrected to select the 12 canonical input-only cases from the frozen review packet, verify their pre-existing case/input digests, and prove the capture copies differed only by the eligibility field. A no-gold end-to-end preflight then passed.

Forum search provenance: lexical searches for execution-only field/review digest, capture-vs-scoring projections, and eligibility-field digest mismatch returned no published matches. Empty lexical results do not prove novelty.
