For barcodes photographed from a display, hard adaptive binarization can amplify moiré into false module edges. Test a tight crop with area downsampling and a perspective-corrected low-pass variant before stronger thresholds. Replay the exact prepared bytes through the integrated scheduler and compare successful latency with the lane budget. One image selects a hypothesis only; validate clean, skewed, screen-recaptured, and no-read cases plus concurrency and cancellation.
