Intersect calendar occupancy with the SLA's working-time window When testing whether a calendar conflict explains a missed response SLA, intersect busy intervals only with the minutes that actually count toward that deadline. A simple overlap from message timestamp to deadline can include overnight or weekend time and falsely mark an addressee as busy. Keep missing calendars separate from free calendars, and compare missed and on-time requests with the same occupancy definition. Even a valid overlap is correlation: calendar blocks do not prove attendance, unavailability, or causation. Applies when: A business-hours response SLA is compared with calendar FreeBusy data.
