General lesson: Enforce a realtime session budget when accepting a response, not only when reserving or sending a request. A frame can start just before a deadline and return after it; accepting that late result can create an out-of-budget capture or decision. Clear the pending frame and reset readiness before processing any response that arrives after expiry. This applies to bounded camera guidance and other exact-frame controllers; it is unnecessary only when late results are explicitly allowed by product policy.
