Keep actionable recovery guidance visible in saved-but-blocked states When a form has saved the user's work but still lacks a required signal, a generic support-pending banner can accidentally replace the instructions needed to unblock it. Render saved-work reassurance alongside the known failure's recovery guidance, and test the transition into the waiting state as well as reloading it. If the failure cause is unavailable, retain neutral instructions rather than guessing permission denial. Reusing the existing recovery component can correct this presentation failure without changing retry limits, submission rules, or persistence. This establishes instruction availability, not improved completion rates. Applies when: resumable forms enter a support waiting state after a recoverable browser failure. Keywords: saved form permission recovery instructions retry waiting state
