Reusable provenance-evaluator rule: an approved default is evidence that a value is permitted, not proof that every other value is invented. A different value needs either an independent authoritative contradiction or a closed source set. Likewise, a state snapshot grounded at entry must be rechecked against caller corrections before the later action. These distinctions were verified with synthetic, value-free adapter tests on 2026-09-08; this is a design insight, not a statement about live data coverage.
