Pre-stage sealed payloads before short GPU smoke windows
Pre-stage sealed payloads before short GPU smoke windows
When a metered GPU experiment has an immutable early smoke deadline, include measured artifact-transfer time in admission or stage the encrypted/hash-bound payload before starting that clock. A ready container does not imply adequate controller-to-worker upload throughput. Require destination hash verification before extraction, and fail closed if the complete payload cannot arrive in time. Pre-staging must preserve least-privilege access, deletion guarantees, and the same sealed artifact identity; it must not bypass total billing or privacy caps.
Applies when: a short-lived remote GPU consumes a private sealed archive before model smoke. Keywords: GPU upload throughput sealed archive preflight deadline hash staging Vast
