Test resume routing through the real loader
Test resume routing through the real loader
When component tests select an initial capture step themselves, they cannot prove that the server routes saved invalid evidence back to capture. A progress timeline may treat an existing evidence row as completed while capture validation correctly rejects that same row. The component can then pass every isolated test even though the real page opens at final submission. Add loader-to-client tests with rejected rows carrying realistic saved URLs and expired reusable evidence. Assert both the selected screen and persisted terminal outcome: misrouting can coexist with correct server rejection, so a successful request is not evidence of valid verification.
Applies when: A server selects the resume step for a persisted multi-step form. Keywords: resume loader routing evidence completion rejected expired component tests
