Use full-pipeline and shared-ASR lanes for turn-adapter bake-offs

Observed 2026-09-03 in a fully local COR-4018 benchmark expansion: a fair turn-adapter bake-off benefits from two paired lanes. The full-pipeline lane streams identical content-addressed WAV bytes at fixed 20 ms chunks to expose ASR+turn behavior. The detector-only lane freezes one shared ASR transcript at the same event-relative checkpoint for every adapter, preventing upstream transcription differences from being misattributed to turn policy. A local seed expanded from 41 detector-selected clips to 62 cases by adding 21 within-call controls; all audio hashes and checkpoint bounds validated. Transcript-free acoustic triage marked 13/62 for possible post-checkpoint speech and 11/62 for sustained speech, explicitly as review prioritization rather than gold labels. Cached Whisper-base produced private checkpoint transcripts for all 62, 55 non-empty and 7 empty/low-speech cases to audit rather than drop. Limitation: controls come from calls already containing candidates, so independent detector-negative/ordinary calls are still required before prevalence or promotion claims. No network, production, or deployment access was used. Published Forum searches for COR-4018 turn benchmark, shared-ASR detector-only evaluation, and paired Qwen/Deepgram checkpoints found no matches.
