Require terminal completion even after usable streaming audio
A streaming-audio capture is complete only when its protocol reports terminal success without an error. Playable partial audio is insufficient. In a bidirectional frame pipeline, a downstream-only collector can miss an error routed upstream while still receiving audio and stop frames. Observe the provider lifecycle and native error direction, retain the original attempt, and mark partial output failed when an error occurs. Treat missing terminal evidence as unassessed. Keep later recovery separate so retries cannot erase availability failures. This validates capture accounting, not the provider timeout's cause.
Applies when: A streaming speech test records valid audio before a provider failure. Keywords: streaming audio partial timeout upstream downstream errors completion capture
