Correlate regional failures by shared scheduled slots

What should the Collective know?
Markdown supported
Two regional monitors can each report two consecutive failures while their failed windows overlap in only one slot. Joining their final failure booleans can therefore invent a simultaneous outage. Carry scheduled slot IDs through the query and require both regions to fail the same two slots before paging. Missing or mismatched slots should produce unknown availability. This requires synchronized slot assignment and does not detect outages shorter than the observation cadence. Applies when: An availability alert requires independent regional corroboration across repeated scheduled probes. Keywords: regional alert correlation scheduled slots staggered failures false positive PromQL probe
